Prof Jomo Kwame Sundaram on global fuel, food and financial crises

Prof Jomo Kwame Sundaram is the Assistant Secretary General for Economic Development in the United Nation's Department of Economics and Social Affairs.
Before joining the UN, Prof Jomo was Professor in the Applied Economics Department, Faculty of Economics and administration, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, until August 2004.
Malaysiakini caught up with the professor for his take on what is happening to the global economic and political landscape which seems to be changing at an alarming rate.
